Walking With Christ was born from an informal devotional series launched in 2019 with a simple purpose: to encourage believers to let Scripture shape their daily lives. Written in an expository style—verse by verse, chapter by chapter—we aim not only to understand God’s Word more deeply, but also to apply it faithfully, allowing it to transform how we live, think, and walk with Christ each day.

Below you can read our expository devotionals, and if you prefer to listen in audio format please check out the Podcast page.

  • The Image of the Invisible God

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Colossians 1:15 ESV If anyone claims that Jesus Christ was only human, or simply a gifted teacher or a great prophet sent by God, yet not truly divine in nature, our passage today crushes that argument. As Paul continues a rather lengthy…

  • Giving Thanks To The Father

As believers, we have so much to be thankful for that it’s sometimes easy to take these gifts for granted.  It’s human nature for appreciation to wane over time as blessings become normality.  This is why it is so important for us to take some time each day to consider just how much we have…

  • Walk In A Manner Worthy

Last time we saw how Paul continuously prayed that the Colossians would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Col. 1:9), and today we continue looking at the apostle’s encouraging passage in this letter. Paul wrote in Colossians 1:10-11: “…so as to walk in a manner worthy of…

  • By The Will of God

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father. (Colossians 1:1-2 ESV) Opening Paul’s epistle to the Colossians, we see a familiar greeting and claim of authorship (likely with Timothy…
