Walking With Christ was born from an informal devotional series launched in 2019 with a simple purpose: to encourage believers to let Scripture shape their daily lives. Written in an expository style—verse by verse, chapter by chapter—we aim not only to understand God’s Word more deeply, but also to apply it faithfully, allowing it to transform how we live, think, and walk with Christ each day.
This small ministry is not an organized non-profit nor under the umbrella of a church. We do not accept donations of any kind. Plus, if His grace and mercy are free, we certainly don’t need to take money to simply share His word with others.

Statement of Faith – Core Beliefs
The Godhead
While the Bible does not explicitly use the term “Trinity,” we hold that the whole of Scripture upholds the established church understanding of a Triune Godhead. This means that God the Father, God the Son (Christ) and God the Holy Spirit exist as one God in three persons. We believe them to be eternal and equal in glory, having the same attributes, characteristics and divine nature. While they are each fully God, they remain distinct in personhood and role. For example, the Father is the source of life and wisdom, architect of creation, provides for us, and elects us to salvation. Christ is the creator, our redeemer, the author and perfector of our faith, and yet lovingly submits to the Father’s will, even though he retains equality with the Father. The Holy Spirit is sent out by the Father and Son to work in the Church on earth, specifically to indwell and intercede for believers, and to convict, teach, and bring prophecy. While their roles and responsibilities are unique in the Godhead, they each are God in the truest sense of the word, and each work together in perfect unity (oneness). We believe that to deny the deity and personhood of the Father, Son, and/or Holy Spirit is blasphemy, the latter being the only unforgiveable sin.

God’s Word (Scripture)
We believe that the sixty-six books of the bible are the inspired word of God and that the original texts are infallible and inerrant. We hold the scriptures were penned by men inspired by the Holy Spirit and miraculously preserved over time to ensure God’s word remains pure and accurate. We believe God has been able to sustain His written word from the time of its writing to now, and that any honest translational or scribal errors can be overcome by the power of the Spirit speaking to the hearts of humble believers who search the Scriptures for truth. We believe Scripture is of utmost importance in the proclamation of the gospel and the spiritual growth of a Christian, and that it must be handled (studied/taught) with great humility, prayer, and care.

Salvation
We believe that eternal salvation, which can simply be understood as the forgiveness of sin, reconciliation to God, and ultimately admittance into heaven to dwell with God forever, is obtained by the singular means of faith in Christ. This faith is a gift provided by God’s grace and mercy alone. Salvation, grace and/or mercy are not obtainable by any works or religious acts nor through any other person/priest/church/deity, but only by believing in Jesus Christ as Savior and repenting of sins. While we adhere to and agree with the doctrine of God’s sovereign election in our salvation (predestination), we also believe that each of us is personally responsible for choosing to believe in and follow Christ, and that anyone who hears and responds to the call of the Spirit’s nudging in their life, abstains from intentional sins, and exhibits the fruit of the Spirit can consider themselves to be elect and therefore have assurance of salvation. We do not support the idea of double-predestination, defined as the belief that God elects people to salvation and to damnation, thereby removing any human choice in the matter. We instead hold that those who reject Christ and the free gift of salvation doom themselves to eternal and irreversible damnation and separation from God, resulting in a conscious punishment in Hell, and therefore it is the responsibility of all believers, as led by the Holy Spirit, to share their faith and the hope of salvation with those who do not believe.

Creation
We believe that God, through the Lord Jesus, created our known universe, including the heavens (space, stars, planets, and sky) and the earth, in six 24-hour days, and that this was as much a miracle as any other recorded in Scripture. We hold that the teaching and belief of the evolutionary theory by Christians is dangerous and dismisses the authority, authenticity, and accuracy of Scripture, specifically because, by definition, it denies that death came into the world through Adam’s sin – a key and immovable tenet of the gospel message. We hold that the Genesis account of creation is both accurate and historical, and distinctively specific because God wanted us to understand and believe it, and that through his infinite foreknowledge the timeless narrative would even directly contradict the manmade evolutionary models of today. While some may struggle to comprehend certain aspects of this topic, including the Hebraic perspective of the creation account, we must not deny that God created the heavens and earth that we live in today, that he did so in one literal week, and that through Adam and Eve’s sin death entered God’s “very good” creation, thereby generating the need for Christ to redeem us.

Other Matters
While we believe and hold to the majority of conservative, traditional Christian doctrines, we feel it unnecessary to extensively explain and defend these topics here. Simply stated, we agree with the beloved apostle Paul when he said:
“And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” (1 Cor. 2:1-5).
